Departing Robert you’ll travel by boat to the Islet Chancel, the largest of Martinique, with an area of 70 hectares.
Once on the Island you will have the choice of a horse drawn carriage or vintage jeep ride for an authentic, unique and exclusive tour of this islet, part of Martinique heritage.
Feast your eyes on beautiful landscapes, and discover the flora and fauna and ruins of the islet Chancel. Iguanas are indigenous to this small piece of land, and its old sugar mill and brickyard history are not to be missed!
The island is only available to the public at one location; however, during the visit, you have exclusive access to the whole site that normally remains completely private.
We’ll stop at a stunning vista for photos and daydreaming. Enjoy a drink as you take in the beautiful views.
The visit will be followed by a picnic lunch at Michel’s house during which you can enjoy seafood accompanied by local seasonal vegetables and other local treats.
In the afternoon enjoy an ocean swim or nap on a private beach. A snack will be offered.
The carriage can accommodate 4-5 people depending on weight. (800lbs total maximum).
The Jeep can accommodate 10 people.
