From Le Robert, set out by boat to the Islet Chancel, the largest of Martinique, with a surface area of 70 hectares.
Once on the Islet, you have the possibility to choose between a horse-drawn carriage or a vintage jeep ride for an authentic, unique and exclusive tour of this islet, part of the Martinique heritage.
Look across beautiful landscapes, and discover the rich ecosystems and ruins of the Islet Chancel. Iguanas are indigenous to this small land, and both its old sugar mill and brickyard history are worth a visit!
The island has restrictive access to the public (only a part of it is open to everyone; however, during our visit, you have an exclusive access to the whole island including to the private parts.
Proceed to a breathtaking viewpoint, the perfect place for pictures and daydreaming. Enjoy a drink as you marvel at the beautiful views.
Next, you have a picnic style lunch at Michel’s home to enjoy seafood with local seasonal vegetables among other delicious local treats.
This afternoon, enjoy an ocean swim or a relaxing nap on a private beach.
The carriage can accommodate from 4 to 5 persons depending on the weight. (800 lbs total maximum).
The Jeep can accommodate up to 10 persons.
